it’s time to love
December 12. 2 Thessalonians ch 1-3
IT’S TIME TO LOVE.
“Beloved, let us [unselfishly] love and seek the best for one another, for love is from God; and everyone who loves [others] is born of God and knows God [through personal experience].” 1 John 4:7 AMP
GOOD DAY: How everything man has invented and anchored life on is crumbling! Philosophy crumbling, democracy crumbling; religion crumbling; capitalism crumbling; wars around the world make nations that were once the desire of the eyes become rubbles. As it is with nations, so it is with individuals. Advanced as medical science is, even doctors are counselling the return to nature! Social media is filled with natural medication that doctors once called taboos. Is it not time to return to LOVE? LOVE IS THE FOUNDATION AND THE BINDING SUBSTANCE OF LIFE.
In trying to fix the world, everything is being considered by mankind except LOVE. Unselfish LOVE seeks the best for his neighbour. It makes you pause to consider how what you are thinking or doing will affect your neighbour. In most cases, we only think of ourselves. The leader who chooses war instead of peaceful resolution is only seeking how to keep being in power. He doesn’t think about those who will lose their lives once his own life and wellbeing are secured. And as soon as they smell defeat coming, they escape to a friendly nation. That is not LOVE. Let us return to LOVE for GOD IS LOVE. Only then will the world flow with and grow in God. Since I chose LOVE no matter what is happening, I have known peace, joy and divine assistance. Try LOVE and you will never regret doing so.
PRAY: Dear Lord Jesus, without You, I cannot love the way You love. Help me to always choose love over self interest.
