HAPPY DAY TO YOU: Until a person comes to appreciate the information in our text for meditation today, he will not be properly focused. I used to wonder how this could be that both good and ill go forth from the mouth of God and concluded that it is a misconception about God. But some years back, my spirit was pointed to this scripture and I was taken to the beginning when God made heaven and earth. He planted the tree of Life and that of Knowledge of good and evil in the center of the garden of Eden. All the good and the evil were wrapped in the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. “The Lord God commanded the man, saying, “From any tree of the garden you may eat freely; but from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat from it you will surely die.”” Genesis 2:16-17 NASB1995. When you acknowledge this, your mind will be in one direction which is God-ward and your prayer will have more meaning as you will be relating with God as “Person” and not as an arbitrary force or phenomenon but as One who is. You can then have heart to heart discussions with Him on a personal basis. You can ask Him questions about whatever you want.

Also, acknowledging this fact will take all fears out of your mind because it is God who determines the affairs on earth not anybody. Leaders can propose anything but you will know that it can only stand if God has said it. Man will become humbled and give glory to God. The fear of God will be established in the heart of man. Think about our passage today and see how it affects your relationship with God.

Today’s Exercise: Dear Lord, I appreciate You as the author and finisher of all things. Help me to see You in everything about my life. Say to yourself (I recognise God in every aspect of my life and direct all my questions and praises to Him.)

Thanking God for His Wisdom and Will that He shares with us as we meditate and fellowship with His Word… we are truly blessed.
Man had the amazing privilege to be created in the image of God Almighty but the same man decided to step down his God given identity to self depreciate by the act of disobedience.
It does not mean because Man could exercise His free will- to be acquainted with more than God ordained that he (man) had the capacity and know how to be Satan -proof to be able to effectively resist and overcome the deceiver who had the audacity to challenge God Almighty !!!
May we in all humility be endowed with the knowledge of our God and His Son – our gateway to eternal life. Hallelujah.
Help us to fully yield to You and Your will and not take You for granted, O Lord, l pray in the Mighty Mighty Name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.
