UNDERSTANDING AND THE WORD BECAME FLESH.
And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth. John 1:14 ESV
GOOD DAY: I was thrilled by the Holy Spirit a few days ago when I experienced a manifestation of “and the word became flesh”. I don’t like crossing platforms on the underground but I accidentally boarded a wrong train so I needed to cross with a heavy trolley on stairs without a lift. I said in my heart, “Lord, time to help me.” Just then a young lady stood by me and said “you need help?” I said yes. She took the trolley up the stairs, waited for me to climb then asked where I was going. I told her and she asked if London Bridge was my final destination to which I replied no and told her my final destination. She looked at the map from her phone and said I can get a straight train to my destination on platform 6. I thanked her and wanted to take my trolley. She said I shouldn’t worry that she would take me there before going her way and that was what she did. When she was leaving I said to her that I don’t know what I had done to deserve the sacrifice but God will bless her. She said “my pleasure” and told me the train to my destination and left. When she left, the Holy Spirit said to my spirit “the word became flesh and helped you. I became flesh and you saw my glory”. I was deeply moved and worshiped God in my heart there and then.
How often the abiding Spirit of God enters a total stranger and moves them to help us? If we realize this truth deeply, it will be easy to have peace knowing that God will position a vessel He can work through to help us at the fullness of time. This is beyond science and human understanding. The word became flesh in Jesus for the salvation of the world and He is still becoming flesh to work His purpose in our lives. At the fullness of time, the word for your situation will become flesh and you shall see the glory of God.
PRAY: Holy Spirit, help me to see You and acknowledge Your help in whatever way You manifest to me.
