ANOTHER HURRICANE FORECAST!
“Moses said to him, “As soon as I’ve left the city, I’ll spread out my hands to the LORD. Then the thunder and the hail will stop and won’t return so that you will know that the earth belongs to the LORD.” Exodus 9:29 CEB
GOOD DAY: God has not left Himself without a witness that He owns the earth and all that dwell in it. CNN announced another devastating storm was going to land in Texas that will destroy a good part of a whole city. Residents there were asked to evacuate to settlements provided in the city centre. The hurricane reached Texas as science predicted, it did level where it landed but there was nothing the scientists could do to arrest the hurricane in spite of knowing the damage it would do. Man was helpless to stop the devastations. Had there been an acknowledgement of God and national or state prayer called, perhaps the hurricane could have been stopped completely or rendered non-destructive. How do I know? I had prayed several times for rain to stop when I had an important event going and rain started. It stopped because the earth is the Lord’s. The new President of El Salvador Nayib Bukele testified to the power of prayer in putting down the crime rate. He sent out police and other law enforcement agents for the job but the criminals were killing them and gaining the upper hand until he called for prayer in his cabinet for God to help them. God answered and the law enforcement agents were able to rid their country of criminals. Now El Salvador has become one of the safest places in the world.
Hurricanes, hailstorms and other natural disasters that man can predict but cannot stop are God’s voice to man that He God exists and He is Lord of His creation. Honour God and give Him praise for He alone is God. Honour His Son Jesus Christ because in Him all things hold together Hallelujah!
PRAY: Dear Lord Jesus, let Your works that man cannot control bring a conviction that You exist and cause people to honour You.
