HAPPY DAY TO YOU: In the next few days, we are going to look at one important aspect of the Lord’s Prayer that gives peace once fully understood. It also makes cooperating with the Holy Spirit easy. There is the kingdom of heaven which is real. Because we do not see it and it cannot be measured by our own known parameters, we have difficulty relating with it. It does not however mean that it doesn’t exist. God rules over the kingdom of men. Earth is supposed to model heaven.

“This word is by decree of the observers; the matter is a command from the holy ones. This is so the living will know that the Most High is ruler over the kingdom of men. He gives it to anyone He wants and sets the lowliest of men over it.” Daniel 4:17 HCSB.
HOW IS HEAVEN?
“for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit.” Romans 14:17 HCSB. Heaven is not about food and drinks with the associated cares of life here. It is righteousness meaning pleasing God, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. The earth is like God’s equipment given to man with instructions on how to manage it. When we ignore the instructions, we crash the earth which is what we are experiencing now. When we go back to Him in His instructions, we build the earth and enjoy it. In heaven, there is no sickness or pain or tears and God is our light. “Then I heard a loud voice from the throne: Look! God’s dwelling is with humanity, and He will live with them. They will be His people, and God Himself will be with them and be their God. He will wipe away every tear from their eyes. Death will no longer exist; grief, crying, and pain will exist no longer, because the previous things have passed away.” Revelation 21:3–4 HCSB This is the heaven that the earth is to model. This is also the desire of man here but which can only be attained through obedience to God.

Today’s Exercise: Thank You Lord for pointing me to the fact that whatever happens is your way of leading me to align with heaven. Help me to yield to your leadership. Say to yourself ten times and as often as possible (I see God always before me and I have rest in my soul.)
