March 11.    Joshua ch 10-12

HAPPY DAY TO YOU: Awareness makes a lot of difference in the way we approach situations in life. Our text today is part of the story in Matthew 8:5-10. The centurion was aware of some facts which exist both in the natural and spiritual. First, he was aware of authority both in the natural and spiritual. Second, he was aware that all things both seen and unseen have ears to hear and are subject to authority. Third, he was aware of the authority of Jesus over all things. Fourth, he was aware of how authority operates. Fifth, he knew the limits of his own authority. Read Matthew 8:5-10 over and bring out more lessons on awareness of authority for your own learning and as it applies to you. Yesterday, we saw that mountains have ears and they obey authority. 

You may now ask, what authority do I have to speak to any mountain? Listen to this: “Now you understand that I have imparted to you my authority to trample over his kingdom (Satan’s). You will trample upon every demon before you and overcome every power Satan possesses. Absolutely nothing will harm you as you walk in this authority.” Luke 10:19 TPT

Jesus has imparted to those who believe in Him His authority, as they walk in this authority, all other powers will obey them. The responsibility of man is to put himself under the authority of Jesus Christ. If you have not done that, then NOW is the chance for you to do so. Pray and invite Jesus into your life to be your saviour and master. Place yourself under His authority and you can use that authority to tell the mountains to move and they will obey you. Listen and read this over again until it goes into your heart and the truth of it becomes yours. 

Today’s Exercise: Lord Jesus, thank You for imparting your authority to me, teach me to walk in it. Say to yourself ten times and as often as you can “I have the authority of Jesus over all things and mountains I encounter”.
