BATTLE IN THE SPIRIT

📖

“Because we are not wrestling against flesh and blood, but against principalities and against powers,… Therefore, take up the whole armor of God so that you may be able to resist in the evil day, and having worked out all things, to stand. And put on the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God;” ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭6‬:‭12‬-‭13‬, ‭17‬ ‭AFV‬‬

HAPPY DAY TO YOU: I was so happy the day I caught the understanding of how to break bad thoughts and situations in my life. It was like winning the lottery. My understanding was open to sword fighting games where no one drops the sword until he is no longer able to go on in the game and he is counted out and declared the loser.  King David described it thus : “He trains my hands for battle, so that my arms can bend a bow of bronze. I have pursued my enemies and overtaken them; nor did I turn back until they were destroyed.” ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭18‬:‭34‬, ‭37‬ ‭AFV‬‬. The Holy Spirit taught me that I am to persist with the word of God which is the sword of the spirit against unwholesome thoughts until they are silenced and or their manifestation disappears. I must persist in countering the thought with the word of God until fear and worry disappear and peace and joy come to my heart like when a battle is fought and won. No matter the appearance of the thought in nature, you must persist speaking the word of God against it. Nobody drops his weapon until the battle is over, so in your mind you must speak the word until you can sing the victory song.

Today’s Exercise: Thank you Lord that your word is sharper than a two edged sword and you have put it in my mouth. Help my mouth not to depart from your word in Jesus name. Say to yourself (the word of God remains in my mouth in season and out of season.)
