GOOD DAY: Sometimes I wonder what Jesus will say to this generation of social media where we are bombarded with all sorts of unsolicited information. Even without registering on any of the social media apps, news tips and information float out on your phone. The search engine sends them to your phone at random. If you choose not to use smart phones, then you won’t be able to do business as the world is like a village with the internet. How do you handle the myriad of information?
We are not told what kind of info flew around at the time of Jesus but He warned His followers to take care of what they listened to. This is because the level of attention that they give to what they heard was the level they would be given of such things. It is the same thing now. The passion with which you listen to the kind of information or news you are exposed to is the level by which you will receive it. The AI on Facebook for example automatically posts information related to your interest by whatever you like or watch on your page. The more you take in the information, the more it goes into your heart and the more you attract the circumstance. LAW OF ATTRACTION is that you attract the situation into your life that you store in your heart or subconscious mind. Therefore, sift the information you pay attention to by deciding whether you want such a situation in your life or not. Mind the posts that you entertain as you may be the next object of such posts sooner or later.
PRAY: Dear Lord, please touch my eyes and ears that I may behold and listen to wholesome news.
