HAPPY DAY TO YOU: If you prayerfully read Psalm 139 yesterday, you will be amazed at how God not only fearfully and wonderfully made us but His control over man and the entire universe. This knowledge made me curious about how He maintains and sustains His creation. I found that He sustains the universe by the power of His word. This is said of Jesus; “He reflects the brightness of God’s glory and is the exact likeness of God’s own being, sustaining the universe with his powerful word. …” Hebrews 1:3a GNT I believe this will help me in sustaining and maintaining my life. Health was my first concern then. It is in my search that our scripture for meditation today came to me. I found that He heals with the power of His word. The word He sent out heals. When you speak His word to your body, it opens up the avenue for your healing so that you live in divine health until the time appointed for you to be here on earth is up. Remember Psalm 139. Because the world does not seek God for how to maintain divine health, there is confusion about what makes for good health and healing. The medication and procedures applauded today are condemned to have deadly after effects tomorrow. If you believe that God heals by His word, I am sure that you will take the word of God more seriously and learn how to live by it. We Christian’s need to delve more into the word of God through meditation and practising what we understand from it to know for certainty that it is true. Start today by talking to your body and see how it responds with time. Don’t wait until you are sick.

Today’s Exercise: Thank You Lord for showing me how You sustain the universe. Help me to appreciate the importance of Your words. Say to yourself today ten times; “I speak God’s word to my whole life to pattern it after His image.”
