BUILDING FAITH IN REAL TERMS: BUILDING MATERIALS

“And when He had come into the house, the blind men came to Him. And Jesus said to them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” They said to Him, “Yes, Lord.” Then He touched their eyes, saying, “According to your faith let it be to you.” And their eyes were opened. And Jesus sternly warned them, saying, “See that no one knows it.”” Matthew 9:28-30 NKJV

HAPPY DAY TO YOU: The encounter of Jesus with the blind men gives a good insight into faith. Jesus was able to heal their eyes and they knew. Jesus touched their eyes and said it should happen to them according to their faith. Jesus had the power to heal them but the power will only work according to their faith. Faith gives direction to power that was with Jesus. Now, the promises of God carry the power to accomplish what God sends it to do but it depends on the faith of the claimant for it to work. The promises of God are the building blocks for faith.
So how do I build faith? I found that there are generic scriptures that one can use to charge one’s faith. They are;
““God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?” Numbers 23:19 NKJV
Also, check 1 Samuel 15:29. To build your faith in this word of the nature of God, you keep repeating it to yourself as often as possible until it enters your heart and opens up generating faith. The second generic one I have built faith in is “that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” Philippians 2:10–11 NKJV You say this to yourself as often as you can until it enters your heart and unfolds releasing faith in it. You have to repeat this to yourself because the word of God is food for your soul and no one eats for another. Each person eats and digests his food by himself for him to have energy from the food.
Take these two scriptures for today and focus on them to say them to yourself as often as possible till they release the power in them to your heart.

Today’s Exercise: Thank You Lord for showing me how to release the power in your word and the name of Jesus. Give me a deeper understanding of this truth in Jesus’ name. Say to yourself ten times and as often as possible “I keep the word of God in my mouth till it enters my heart to become the power that works in me”.
