COME AND PURCHASE WITHOUT MONEY
“”Come, everyone who thirsts, come to the waters; and he who has no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without price. Why do you spend your money for that which is not bread, and your labor for that which does not satisfy? Listen diligently to me, and eat what is good, and delight yourselves in rich food. Incline your ear, and come to me; hear, that your soul may live; and I will make with you an everlasting covenant, my steadfast, sure love for David.”
Isaiah 55:1-3 ESV
GOOD DAY: We need to make ourselves conscious of and knowledgeable on how to practice some bible instructions. How do I come to the Lord in response to His call for example? Do I go to church or some religious house or gathering? What should I do? I will enlighten us with something common to all of us, especially when we were young. In our primary school days, towards break time when the food vendors arrived and we smelled the aroma of their fried sauce, our minds were in the dining hall while our bodies were seated in class not listening to the teacher. This will explain the unseen part of us that could be anywhere doing anything while the visible part of us is present and doing another thing entirely.
So to go to God who is unseen can only be done by your unseen part. See how God puts it.
“Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth.” Colossians 3:2 ESV. You go to God by setting your mind on God and things of God. The word of God, the nature of God and the works of God. Where your mind is, there you real person is. From today, take note of where your mind is and that will tell you where you are.
PRAY: Dear Lord, thank You for the personal invitation to come to you for provision without money. Teach me to fix my mind on you and receive from You.
