CONCERNING HEALING 3
”Fools, because of their rebellious way, And because of their sins, were afflicted. They detested all kinds of food, And they drew near to the gates of death. Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, And He saved them from their distresses. He sent His word and healed them, And rescued them from their destruction.“
Psalms 107:17-20 AMP
GOOD DAY: Today, we are going to look at how God healed the Israelites and delivered them from their destruction. Perhaps you did not fall sick because of your personal sin but the generic sin of humanity in our stubbornness or out of your own; however, you cannot afford hospital and drugs, then faith is your only hope of healing. Let us see the way of healing in the bible. 1. Faith means you believe in God to heal you. Whether you can afford hospital and medication or not, you must believe that God exists. It is easier for the poor to believe God exists. Doctors too say that they care and God heals. 2. You have to cry to Him about your situation and exactly what you want as your healing. Some people don’t want freedom from disease as their healing, strange but true. 3. You need to watch for His word. If you can read, you must read His word the bible regularly and as often as you can. No special place to read, just continue reading as it enters your heart. If you can’t read, focus on the aspect of creation where you see God. To be continued.
