CONSEQUENCES OF A NATION FORSAKING GOD
“Then Shemaiah the prophet came to Rehoboam and to the princes of Judah, who had gathered at Jerusalem because of Shishak, and said to them, “Thus says the Lord, ‘You abandoned me, so I have abandoned you to the hand of Shishak.’””

GOOD DAY: Aside from what we hear as the history of Christian nations that have now abandoned Christianity for other religions and the troubles with the lack of peace that they are experiencing, the same thing is playing out now in some Christian nations that were once peaceful. Nations that were built on Christian foundations started taking Christ and the bible out of their lives and constitutions. Churches are being put up for sale or to let because people no longer attend and there is no way to keep up with the bills. By and by, leadership of countries are being taken over by people of another faith because the natives of the land have abandoned Christ and His truth that sets free is no longer taught.
Christ is the Prince of Peace and the more He is taken out of the life of a nation or an individual, the more peace evades such a nation or individual. The world can hold peace forums and spend much money to research peace but there is no scientific knowledge that can give peace except the Knowledge of Christ.
PRAY: Dear Lord, send a revival and bring the world back to You that there can be peace.
