DON’T TAKE IT PERSONAL

📖

Moses also said, “You will know that it was the Lord when he gives you meat to eat in the evening and all the bread you want in the morning, because he has heard your grumbling against him. Who are we? You are not grumbling against us, but against the Lord.” ‭Exodus 16:8 NIV‬

🤔

HAPPY DAY TO YOU: I have seen persecution in different shades in my life. It hurts most when it comes from people who you love and are close to you. I have been misunderstood and maltreated before because I refused to conform with people’s opinion. I used to be  discouraged and tried to prove myself until God opened my eyes to this experience of Moses with the children of Israel. It was a point of transformation in my life.

🤔

Whatever people do to you, they are doing to God directly. God lives in you and if you are doing what He instructs you to do, all insults and misunderstanding are against Him and not you as a person. When people react as if I step on their toes, I sit back and check if God was the source of my action. Once I am convinced it is God who instructed my action, I hold my peace. I do like Moses and refer the case back to Him. Exodus 6:21-23. God speaks words of comfort to me and at the fullness of time, I thank God for the way He has resolved the matter.

🔧

When people mistreat you while doing God’s assignment, don’t take it personal but know that they are mistreating God. I have also learnt to be cautious when responding to the actions of others lest I am revolting against God who is empowering them. Acts 5:34-39

🛐

I pray that God will give you the spirit that takes everything back to Him and make you joyful in the execution of His word in Jesus name.
