THE JOB OF MINISTERS OF THE WORD OF GOD
“Also Jeshua, Bani, Sherebiah, Jamin, Akkub, Shabbethai, Hodiah, Maaseiah, Kelita, Azariah, Jozabad, Hanan, Pelaiah, the Levites, explained the law to the people while the people remained in their place. They read from the book, from the law of God, translating to give the sense so that they understood the reading.”

GOOD DAY: Pastors and teachers of the word of God have the duty to translate the word of God and give sense of the word to the flock who can understand. It is because this is not happening that makes people think that the bible is obsolete and they are living their lives outside of God. There is nothing happening in this age that has no foundation in the bible. It is the work of the teachers to sit with the Word and ask Him to translate Himself in today’s language and lifestyle. The word of God must be given sense by those whose job it is to sit with God and understand His word. All inventions of man are God inspired. Inventors used their imaginations and God who says He will give man exceeding abundantly more than they can think of or imagine opened up to them the secrets of science. This is the time for teachers of the word to seek knowledge and understanding and for the flock to assess what they gain from their teachers. It is time to have men after the order of The Ezra as teachers. “For Ezra had set his heart to study the law of the Lord and to practice it, and to teach His statutes and ordinances in Israel.”
