EXPERIENCE GOD AT ALL LEVELS
“Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.””
Hebrews 13:5 ESV
GOOD DAY: Today, we are looking at God who says He will never leave us nor forsake us. Apart from His word which He has exalted above His name, (“I will worship toward thy holy temple, And give thanks unto thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: For thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.”)
Psalms 138:2 ASV,
I need to feel Him in reality and action. Let us look at the nature of man and that of God so as to understand how to feel God’s presence. Man is spirit, soul and body. Since man is made in the image of God, He too is Spirit, Soul and Body. The Spirit of God is the Holy Spirit; His soul is His Word and His body is our bodies which are His temple. Now the nature of God is peace. When I have His peace that passes all understanding in my spirit, (Philippians 4:6-7) I feel the presence of God with me. When I have knowledge and understanding of His word and what to do at any time, I feel God in my soul (“For the Lord gives wisdom; From His mouth come knowledge and understanding.”)

and when my body is healthy and strong, I feel God with me. (“and He Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, so that we might die to sin and live to righteousness; for by His wounds you were healed.”)

We are not left in limbo. That is what I have discovered from my practice and observing these expressions of God in various ways in my own life. You can start doing the same so you get used to the aroma of God’s presence with you. His presence also lightens the burden of adverse conditions for He says ““Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.””

While you are passing through some situations effortlessly, others will be wondering how you are coping. That is because God the burden bearer is with you. Begin to observe and savor the aroma of God with you.
PRAY: Dear Lord, do teach me how to recognise Your presence with me.
