FINDING YOUR LOST TREASURE
““Or what woman, if she has ten silver coins and loses one coin, does not light a lamp and sweep the house and search carefully until she finds it? When she has found it, she calls together her friends and neighbors, saying, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found the coin which I had lost!’”

GOOD DAY: Two days ago, we were to write down what we know about the Holy Spirit and watch our actions and happenings during the day. Did you do the exercise? If you believe and do any exercise as you understand it, then you will enjoy the benefit of it and you will be doing your spiritual software upgrade. After I wrote what I know about the Holy Spirit, I looked more into who He is and what He can do. I noticed that I have not tapped into one percent of His ability. I confirmed that He lives in me but does not flex His muscles with me when I ignore or resist Him. I discovered that I have lost quite some treasure in not having the fullness of the Holy Spirit. I discovered that He can be grieved and I checked out some things that grieve Him, I did this research using the search facility on my bible app. I saw that I need a thorough software renewal of my mindset. What about you? What did you find?
Knowing that He lives inside me and I haven’t exhibited most of Him in my life, I saw myself in the woman in our meditation today. I have to look in every corner of my heart to remove all the clutter that is there. I also saw that I had developed my intellect and five senses more than my spirit. I need to do a lot of work to grow in the Holy Spirit just as I have done to my intellect. You see, our intellect and five reasoning senses are our treasures like that woman’s treasure as well as our spiritual sense, which in the case of the Christian is the Holy Spirit. He is the lost treasure that you need to find if your life is going to be vibrant and fulfilling. Christianity has been less vibrant and interesting because we have lost the Holy Spirit and replaced Him with doctrines and religiousness. As you think and identify with the Holy Spirit, do the home search needed in your heart till you hook to Him.
PRAY: Dear Holy Spirit, I recognize that I need You but have missed You. Help me in my quest to find You and hold on to You.
