FREE UP THE SPACE IN YOUR MIND

REMOVE THE UNNEEDED APPLICATIONS
And others are the ones on whom seed was sown among the thorns; these are the ones who have heard the word, but the worries of the world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the desires for other things enter in and choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful.

GOOD DAY: We don’t see much farming again these days unlike the time when everywhere had little farm lands around. If Jesus will say this parable now, He will use tech language. My phone has a feature that tells me to uninstall apps that I have not used for three months so that the two major ones I use can function optimally. Those apps to be uninstalled are not bad in themselves but they clog up my phone and it cannot yield optimal results for me. Worries of the world, deceitfulness of riches and desires for other good things fall in the category of apps to be uninstalled if you will hear the voice of God within you. You need to free your mind of things that clog it up so that your mind can receive the important instruction from God. Worries about how you will solve your life issues by your power and might and intellect constitute thorns that choke up the word of God that carries the solution.
God is talking to you and is eager for you to listen that you may enjoy peace but you need to remove the clutter in your mind. Each time my phone hangs and becomes unresponsive, I become frustrated. Most of these times, it is because of unneeded apps that clog up its performance. Think about this and check which apps in the computer of your mind that need to be uninstalled.
PRAY: Dear Lord, open my understanding to those attitudes and nature that I have to do away with to be able to hear you.
