HAPPY DAY TO YOU: I have been thinking for a long time over what man needs most. I have been paying attention to my life and listening to others as they speak to me either for counsel or just casual discussions and I have seen that what man needs most is FREEDOM. It is not so much physical freedom as freedom to think and imagine. If your thinking or imagination is caged, then you are in prison indeed. This power to think is what the devil struggles to take from man and uses everything including parents, teachers, leaders and even religious leaders to do that. People who invent great things that are useful to humanity are those who dared to think outside all limitations placed upon them. Those who have known the truth about the power of thoughts and imagination employ all sorts of methods to control the thinking of the masses to take advantage of them. They set the limit by thinking for you then present their thoughts as the best that you should follow. Jesus gave us the secret to freedom. It is knowing the Truth. You are as free as the truth that you know. I look at politics for example. A person who has been exposed to have cheated, stolen or embezzled money and caused hardship for people will come and present a captivating thought to people about how he can fix their problems and think for them and the people believe. The masses out of laziness to think believe him and surrender to him again then discover that his thoughts for them lead to bondage. Think on this devotion and see where and how and whom you have surrendered your power to think to. Do you think for yourself or you just follow the thoughts of others? Write your findings in your journal.

Today’s Exercise: Thank You Lord that You give me the power to think. Help me not to be lazy but engage myself in thinking thoughts after Your kingdom. Say to yourself (I use my power to think to find and know the truth that sets me free.)
