“Day by day the Lord takes care of the innocent, and they will receive an inheritance that lasts forever. They will not be disgraced in hard times; even in famine they will have more than enough.” Psalms 37:18–19 NLT

HAPPY DAY TO YOU: “I can’t see any preparation so sister how can you say God prepares for those who trust and obey Him?” These were the words of a man who got in touch for counselling and I told him that God cares for those who trust Him. Because of the times that we are now, his business has dropped so much that he is so behind in his bills. Feeding his family is a challenge and he has no other place to go and he is so worried and confused.

When God becomes all that you have left, then you will know that He cares for you day by day, and He is the one who has been caring for you even when you did not acknowledge it. He will meet your needs. Your situation is not taking Him by surprise. He knew ‘your’ today from the beginning of time and He has made provisions for you. I have experienced God’s provisions several times that I confidently tell people who choose to trust Him that He shows up right on time. He never fails. If I am to start writing about His unexpected provisions and arrangements in my life when I had lost all hope, a whole book will not be enough. Like the song writer says “One day at a time sweet Jesus that is all I ask of you.” Trust Him and keep a chronicle of His daily provision as your own testament.

Today’s Exercise: Thank You Lord for being there for me even when I did not know You. Help me to depend on Your love to keep me even in tough times. Say to yourself ten times and as often as possible (Day by day God cares for me and I will not be ashamed in Jesus name.)
