GOOD FRIDAY, TIME TO REJOICE AND GIVE THANKS
📖
“He is despised and rejected by men, A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him; He was despised, and we did not esteem Him. ¹Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted. ²But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; ³The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, ⁴And by His stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; We have turned, every one, to his own way; ⁵And the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all. He shall see the labor of His soul, and be satisfied. ⁶By His knowledge My righteous Servant shall justify many, For He shall bear their iniquities.” Isaiah 53:3-6, 11 NKJV

HAPPY DAY TO YOU: What happened on Good Friday? God did for man what man can never do for himself yet he keeps longing for it. Man always wants to be restored to the image and likeness of God that he was in the beginning. God opened the way to our wholeness by bearing our iniquities thus removing the sting of sin highlighted in our text for today. That we may benefit fully, As Jesus Christ the way back to God gave up the spirit, the veil of the temple torn in two and all could behold the ark of God and live. Hallelujah. Man can approach the throne of God freely to obtain mercy and the earth too quaked and split open that man be free to rise from earth again. “Then, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth quaked, and the rocks were split,”
Matthew 27:51 NKJV All these call for mankind to rejoice, give thanks and accept Jesus Christ as his righteousness before God. Jesus has been made sin for man so that man can be righteous before God. The blessings of Good Friday are unsearchable but as far as you can see in them will be yours. Look deeply on the blessings of the crucifixion of Jesus, open your mind and accept Him as your saviour and you can freely return to the throne of mercy anytime and anywhere as occasion demands because of the blood of Jesus.

Today’s Exercise: Thank You Jesus for agreeing to leave Your glory and coming to earth to fetch me that I may live with You eternally. Open my eyes to see You wherever I go. Say to yourself ten times and as often as you can “Jesus, I am grateful for coming to fetch me from death to life. I choose to hold on to you at all times.”

“Jesus, I am grateful for coming to fetch me from death to life. I choose to hold on to you at all times.”× 10
The greatest rescue mission of all ages, times, spheres, and history was the vicarious events leading to and the death of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. This singular death 💀 as evil as death may be looked at from human perceptive heralded in the world, the reconciliation of man with God after the separation in the garden of Eden through Adam and Eve. Thank You, Jesus Christ, for taking the burden of our sins off of our shoulders in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen!!!
