HOPE GOES BEYOND NOW

All these people were still living by faith when they died. They did not receive the things promised; they only saw them and welcomed them from a distance, admitting that they were foreigners and strangers on earth. People who say such things show that they are looking for a country of their own. Hebrews 11:13-14 NIV‬

HAPPY DAY TO YOU: The Holy Spirit is willing to teach us things that pertain to life, peace and joy in life here. The issue of hope and faith is quite blurry and many people have hope unfulfilled and feel like their faith was misplaced. I have many things I live in faith for that have not manifested. Today’s scripture throws light into why I should still keep up my hope and faith.

Let us look at Abraham. He had the hope of becoming a father. His marriage didn’t produce any children for many years. He lost hope of becoming a father from his own body but made himself a father to his servant in his household. God revived his hope by taking him to the sea shore to count the number of the grains of sand then to look out at night and count the number of stars. He couldn’t do either so God said his offspring would be as such. HOPE RENEWED. Abraham believed God the giver of hope.

Today, Abraham’s children are uncountable. Tomorrow, we’ll see how Abraham is enjoying his hope fulfilled.

Today’s Exercise:Thank You Father that your word and promise to me will never fail. Help me to have my hope renewed in You at all times. Rehearse the word of God’s promise many times today.
