““Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them.” Mark 11:23 NIV

HAPPY DAY TO YOU: There is a song I used to love that I have forgotten now but one phrase has not left me since. It is “I wish I could speak and be heard”. If there is anyone I wish would hear me always when I speak, it is Jesus. When this desire to have me speak and He hears became burning in my spirit, I began to study how Jesus Himself spoke while He was here. My first discovery came from Mark 11:23. I was glued to that verse of the bible for days and I kept tossing it in my heart. Whoever will say to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ was thrilling to me. He did not tell me to talk about the size of the mountain, He did not tell me to say how the mountain was disturbing me, he did not tell me to say my many efforts to get the mountain off, I am just to simply say what I want the mountain to do. I was fascinated.
He then put an injunction which said “I must believe and mustn’t waver, I must not keep changing my mind up and down doubting in my heart but believe that what I say will happen, it will be done for me.” He did not say I should figure out how to get the mountain moved; I am just to tell the mountain to move as long as it is standing where I don’t want it. Then I understood why there is so much confusion in my situation. Complaining is not the type of language that is heard, it is what I want done that is heard and worked upon in the spirit realm. Today, analyse one or two issues you want addressed and see what your language style has been. We continue tomorrow by God’s grace.
Today’s Exercise: Thank you Lord for pointing me to Mark 11:23. I see my mistake in speaking and I address it today. Say to yourself ten times and as often as you have to effect a change “I speak positive action words that make good change to everything around me”.
