HYMN PEACE PERFECT PEACE
1 Peace, perfect peace, in this dark world of sin?
The blood of Jesus whispers peace within.
2 Peace, perfect peace, by thronging duties pressed?
To do the will of Jesus, this is rest.
3 Peace, perfect peace, death shadowing us and ours?
Jesus has vanquished death and all its powers.
4 Peace, perfect peace, our future all unknown?
Jesus we know, and he is on the throne.
5 It is enough: earth’s struggles soon shall cease,
and Jesus call to heaven’s perfect peace.
GOOD DAY: It is not tangible but it is the desire of every person. Whenever it is present, there is calm and there is rest. That presence is called PEACE. It is outward and inward, personal and general. The mystery of PEACE is that it is not the absence of storm or trouble as there can be outward storm and turbulence but inward PEACE or the other way round. Meditatively sing or read the above hymn and tomorrow, we begin to look at PEACE.
PRAY: Dear Lord, the world needs peace but it does not understand peace. Help us to understand peace and live in it in Jesus name.
