December 10.     Colossians ch 1-4

HYMN THROUGH THE LOVE OF GOD

1 THROUGH the love of God our Saviour,

All will be well;

Free and changeless is His favour,

All, all is well.

Precious is the blood that healed us,

Perfect is the grace that sealed us,

Strong the hand stretched forth to shield us,

All must be well.

2 Though we pass through tribulation,

All will be well.

Ours is such a full salvation,

All, all is well.

Happy still in God confiding;

Fruitful if in Christ abiding;

Steadfast through the Spirit’s guiding:

All must be well.

3 We expect a bright tomorrow;

All will be well.

Faith can sing through days of sorrow,

All, all is well.

On our Father’s love relying,

Jesus every need supplying;

Or in living or in dying;

All must be well.

“Please run now to meet her and ask her, ‘Is it well with you? Is it well with your husband? Is it well with the child?’ ” And she answered, “It is well.”” 

2 Kings 4:26 AMP

GOOD DAY: Our hymn today shows the thinking in the kingdom of God. If you read the full story of the woman who said “it is well” to Elisha, you would see that the ultimate had happened. Her son had died yet she thought in her heart and said with their mouth that it was well. (2 Kings 4:1-37) The thoughts of God are well and His thought shall prevail in the lives of those who think His thoughts. 

PRAY: Dear Lord and Father, let me always think Your thoughts.
