INDIVIDUAL AWARENESS (in out;out in)
“And I will ask the Father and he will give you another Savior, the Holy Spirit of Truth, who will be to you a friend just like me—and he will never leave you. The world won’t receive him because they can’t see him or know him. But you know him intimately because he remains with you and will live inside you.” John 14:16–17 TPT
HAPPY DAY TO YOU: Lack of awareness puts a lot of stress on us. For a long time, I was unaware of the function of a curved arrow on top of the document app I use to do my typing. Then, if I accidentally wiped off what I had typed, I would be so sad and angry because I had to start all over again. Then one day, I accidentally touched the icon and it restored what I deleted last and since then, I have mastered its use.
It is the same with the lack of awareness of the Holy Spirit with you (out) and in you (in your heart). When I was unaware of His presence with me, I struggled to do things as I did not ask Him to teach or help me. When I was unaware of His presence in me, I was not mindful of the thoughts I entertained in my heart and I was afraid, angry, impatient, intolerant etc. but ever since I became aware, all these negative feelings disappeared as I allowed Him to express Himself in and through me. Many people are only aware of the devil around them unfortunately. If Christians can be aware of the Holy Spirit the way they are of the devil, living will be a better experience. Be mindful of your awareness from today.
TODAY’S EXERCISE: Tell yourself throughout today “ I have God with me and in me and He is in all my experiences to guide and guard me always”.
