JESUS PEACE Vs WORLD PEACE.
📖
“Peace I leave with you; My [perfect] peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be afraid. [Let My perfect peace calm you in every circumstance and give you courage and strength for every challenge.]” John14:27AMP
📖
HAPPY DAY TO YOU: What the world knows as peace is the absence of hostility or disturbance or uncertainties. When the five senses tell man everything is okay and going in his way, he has peace and a feeling of pleasure called joy or happiness. This peace and joy are what the world gives. If the five senses indicate otherwise, he is triggered into the fighting or defense mode. He remains in this mode till he is convinced that things have fallen in place in his favour. These peace and joy are transient and controlled by external situations without peace of mind as they are accompanied with fear that things can change. This is not peace of the kingdom of God. The kingdom of God is about peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. Jesus demonstrated this peace while in the boat with His apostles and a storm arose. The Apostles lost their peace while Jesus was sleeping peacefully at the back of the boat.
How does one have and maintain this peace? The secret is in Isaiah 26:3 which states “Perfect, absolute peace surrounds those whose imaginations are consumed with you; they confidently trust in you.” Isaiah 26:3 TPT When your imagination is consumed with God and His kingdom in His righteousness, He surrounds the person with perfect peace no matter the storm. Man’s duty is to know how to let God consume his imagination. One way I do this is to fix my thoughts on Jeremiah 29:11. “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” Jeremiah 29:11 KJV With my imagination and thoughts on Him, His thoughts towards me are thoughts of good to give my expected end. Jesus’ expected end was to cross over to the other side. The storm could not stop Him. When the storm arose, this is all He did “And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith?” Mark4:39-40KJV
When your imagination is consumed with the Lord, you develop faith in Him that He will take you to Your expectation no matter the storm. This faith gives you peace of mind and joy that are beyond human understanding. Today, check what consumes your thoughts.

“I fix my thoughts on God always, and He keeps me in peace that passes human understanding “.
Happiness most time are as a result of things we have and good news we hear. In reality, these things are most times temporary and , at least, expect the cessation, and when that happens, we lose our peace. When the oil of joy and gladness is upon us as promised, no matter what may come our way, our inner peace is unshaken because our expectations are hinged on Christ Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith. Rejoice, again, I say Rejoice for the oil of JOY AND GLADNESS is upon us for our peace of mind in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen!!!
Thank you for this deep thoughts putting us in the way of perpetual peace and joy in Jesus Christ. May we hinge our expectations in Jesus alone.
