JOY FULL ETERNAL JOY
August 19. Jeremiah ch 22-24
BLESSINGS OF THE PRESENCE OF GOD
You will make known to me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; In Your right hand there are pleasures forever.

GOOD DAY. I wonder how and at what point the world missed it and started pushing God aside. We all look for peace and joy from sources that neither have, give nor sustain them. When I started drawing near to God, the twin brother of peace that I enjoyed was JOY. I honestly cannot describe this feeling or virtue but I really love and cherish it. When Jesus Christ was preached to us, He was portrayed like a joy and pleasure killer who resented happy people. I met God asking Aaron, His representative, to be dressed for beauty and glory.
You shall make holy garments for Aaron your brother, for glory and for beauty. “For Aaron’s sons you shall make tunics; you shall also make sashes for them, and you shall make caps for them, for glory and for beauty. Exodus 28:2, 40 NASB1995
God is interested in His people dressing well for beauty and respect. Being close to God and staying in His presence, He makes sure that you are dressed for glory and for beauty. In His presence there is fullness of joy and pleasures for evermore in His right hand. Jesus said ,
These things I have spoken to you so that My joy may be in you, and that your joy may be made full.
John 15:11 NASB1995
Therefore you too have grief now; but I will see you again, and your heart will rejoice, and no one will take your joy away from you.
John 16:22 NASB1995
Jesus told the Apostles when He was about to leave the world that He had given them the word that would make His joy be in them (and those of us who will believe in His name) and that joy cannot be taken by anyone. This joy is not tied to anything temporal, it is not what science or the intellect can understand so scientists or any human being for that matter can neither create it nor take it away as long as we are in His presence. So if you want unchanging PEACE AND JOY, then be in the Lord’s presence always. I have seen these two virtues in a very few people no matter what they are going through. The presence of God did not absolve the children of Israel from the troubles of their time but His presence took them through it. His presence does not mean you will not have challenges but He will not let challenges take away your ETERNITY with Him. I urge you to consider the blessings of being in His presence and decide to practice His presence with You always. We will see yet another blessing tomorrow and these are the aroma of His presence with you in your life journey.
PRAY: Dear Lord, I thank You for letting me know where eternal joy lies. It is in Your presence. Help me to overcome all obstacles hindering me from being in Your presence always.
