LET THEM… LET ME

Let the one who does wrong continue to do wrong; let the vile person continue to be vile; let the one who does right continue to do right; and let the holy person continue to be holy.” “Look, I am coming soon! HAPPY DAY TO YOU: If we are ready to seek, we shall find. Whatever you choose to seek, you will find it. I was seeking how to get reconciled with some experiences I have. When people misunderstand you, when they deliberately tell lies against you, when people do not own up to their actions, when you pray and you do not have answers then you keep wondering what next to do. Then I accidentally came across a book titled “Let Them…And Let Me…. It was so interesting and putting what the author wrote to practice settled my mind. I was able to move on with love in my heart.

Revelations 22:11-12 says Let each person continue as he wants. Don’t bother yourself about whether they change or not. Know that God is coming soon with His reward for each person. My mind was taken to Ephesians 6:13.
Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Ephesians 6:13 NIV After you have played your own part, then stand still. Psalm 46:10 says the same thing.
He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” Psalms 46:10 NIV This is the conclusion of all the turbulence that can possibly shake the earth; the counsel is “Be still and know that I am God.”

The summary and outworking of all these scriptures is “Let each person be.” The second part is “Let me be.” Your duty in all conditions is to be You. What and who should you be? Continue with your own business and life. To get to this state of mind is not easy but as the issue comes to disturb your mind, tell yourself again “Let them be…pause then say Let me be. As you say this, you detach yourself from the hold of the situation and take back your power to be yourself and take responsibility for your life and peace of mind.

Today, I leave every person who feels under the burden of the actions of others to let them be and let yourself be. If you can take this attitude, even government policies will stop affecting your peace and joy with time.

Today’s Exercise: Thank you Lord for showing me the secret to your stability while You were here on earth. You allowed everybody to be and you too focussed on being who you were here to be. Teach me to have this attitude. Say to yourself as often as possible (I let them be and let me be in every relationship I have.)
