LIFE IS ALL ABOUT SOUL HEALTH
”Beloved friend, I pray that you are prospering in every way and that you continually enjoy good health, just as your soul is prospering.“ 3 John 1:2 TPT
GOOD DAY: ”Keep and guard your heart (soul) with all vigilance and above all that you guard, for out of it flow the springs of life.“ Proverbs 4:23. AMPC
”And he taught me, and said unto me: Let thy heart retain my words; Keep my commandments, and live;“ Proverbs 4:4 ASV
”This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have success.“ JOSHUA 1:8 NASB
THE TWO SIDES TO THE SOUL.
”They reported to Moses: “We went into the land where you sent us. Indeed it is flowing with milk and honey, and here is some of its fruit. However, the people living in the land are strong, and the cities are large and fortified. We also saw the descendants of Anak there. Then Caleb quieted the people in the presence of Moses and said, “We must go up and take possession of the land because we can certainly conquer it! ” But the men who had gone up with him responded, “We can’t go up against the people because they are stronger than we are! ” So they gave a negative report to the Israelites about the land they had scouted: “The land we passed through to explore is one that devours its inhabitants, and all the people we saw in it are men of great size. We even saw the Nephilim there – the descendants of Anak come from the Nephilim! To ourselves we seemed like grasshoppers, and we must have seemed the same to them.”Numbers 13:27-28, 30-33 HCSB
”Why is the Lord bringing us into this land to die by the sword? Our wives and little children will become plunder. Wouldn’t it be better for us to go back to Egypt? ” So they said to one another, “Let’s appoint a leader and go back to Egypt.” Then Moses and Aaron fell down with their faces to the ground in front of the whole assembly of the Israelite community. Joshua son of Nun and Caleb son of Jephunneh, who were among those who scouted out the land, tore their clothes and said to the entire Israelite community: “The land we passed through and explored is an extremely good land. If the Lord is pleased with us, He will bring us into this land, a land flowing with milk and honey, and give it to us. Only don’t rebel against the Lord, and don’t be afraid of the people of the land, for we will devour them. Their protection has been removed from them, and the Lord is with us. Don’t be afraid of them!” Numbers 14:3-9 HCSB
We are starting a short series on the Soul or Heart because our prosperity depends on it. Today’s scriptures are to prepare our hearts to understand the soul of man and how to keep it to produce good fruit.
