FOR PEACE, LIVE YOUR BELIEF NOT CIRCUMSTANCE

HAPPY DAY TO YOU: The world system now is such that no one knows what to believe or live by. Take health, that is trending now. This season, the world is having a focus on health. High blood pressure and diabetes are discussed on social media and the advertised best medications are being questioned and tagged dangerous. Foods recommended as good for health last year are being discouraged from being consumed the following year. It is the same in all fields of life. Robots are beginning to take the place of humans even in the revered professions that need emotional touch. Asbestos is said to be toxic and POP is recommended for roofing the house nowadays. The world’s beliefs keep changing and people are blown about by the wind of proposals of the day. The result, fear where there is no fear and unsureness about life itself.

How can a man have peace of mind in this changing world? It is by having faith that is unshakeable and living by it. A clear and unshakeable faith in God and His word keeps the soul of man steady. “Those who trust in the Lord Are as Mount Zion, which cannot be moved but abides forever.” Psalms 125:1 NASB1995.

To trust in the Lord, you will seek and find what the Lord says about health and healing in His word. I use the bible. One fundamental word I found is “But you shall serve the Lord your God, and He will bless your bread and your water; and I will remove sickness from your midst.” Exodus 23:25 NASB1995. Mine is to study how to serve the Lord and His is to take sickness away from me. It is God who heals and even in hospitals, they have the inscription “WE CARE GOD HEALS”. I leave you to think on Psalm 125:1 quoted above and see how you can identify who you trust and how to deepen your trust in Him.

Today’s Exercise: Thank You Lord that You are the unchanging One. Help me to trust in You. Say to yourself as often as possible (I trust in the Lord with the whole of me and I live by His word always.)
