LIVING BY FAITH
“Now what I am commanding you today is not too difficult for you or beyond your reach. It is not up in heaven, so that you have to ask, “Who will ascend into heaven to get it and proclaim it to us so we may obey it?” Nor is it beyond the sea, so that you have to ask, “Who will cross the sea to get it and proclaim it to us so we may obey it?” No, the word is very near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart so you may obey it.” Deuteronomy 30:11-14 NIV
HAPPY DAY TO YOU: When instructions are not clear or difficult to understand, then nobody will be able to fulfill or obey them. When God wants man to live by faith, He made the way to achieve a living performing faith clear to man. Let us consider a baby. We put milk in his mouth, he swallows it and we observe his growth as he feeds daily. We do not see how his body works on the food but we see it doing what we want which is growth. It is exactly the same thing with faith. Put the food (WORD) in your mouth, it goes to your heart, when you have put enough in your mouth, your heart takes it in to digest and use it to cause growth leading to performance of the word.
Let us consider constipation as an example, you want your bowels to flow. The word of God is ““Don’t you understand yet?” Jesus asked. “Anything you eat passes through the stomach and then goes into the sewer.” Matthew 15:16-17 NLT. You should keep saying this word to yourself until it enters your heart and your bowel moves. Say: “ Food passes through my stomach and then goes into the toilet” to yourself until your bowel moves. And once the word enters your heart, it starts working to bring about manifestation. Try it with condition, it works.
You see how simple the outworking of it is that even the simplest child can follow it. The more you understand and follow, the stronger you become and the more you can trust God. This is the way to build your faith in Christ to a living one.
Today’s Exercise: Say this to yourself ten times and as often as possible. ““ The charges of our legal indebtedness, which stood against us and condemned us; are canceled. Christ has taken it away, nailing it to the cross.” Colossians 2:14 NIV
