MEASURE OF FAITH
For through the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think more highly of himself than he ought to think; but to think so as to have sound judgment, as God has allotted to each a measure of faith. Romans 12:3 NASB1995
HAPPY DAY TO YOU TODAY: Faith is the spiritual energy just as carbohydrate is the natural source of energy for the human body. This is why God gives to each person even those who don’t believe in Him a measure of faith. The magicians of Pharaoh in Egypt and even Pharaoh himself had faith but not in God Almighty Exodus 7. The Apostles asked Jesus to increase their faith meaning faith can be increased. Faith grows. We ought always to thank God for you, brothers and sisters, and rightly so, because your faith is growing more and more, and the love all of you have for one another is increasing. 2 Thessalonians 1:3 NIV
The more faith grows, the more energy you have in your spirit to get things done.
FAITH IS THE SPIRITUAL ENERGY THAT DOES WHATEVER IT IS DIRECTED TO DO. The difference between faith in Christ and other faiths is clearly stated in this scripture. For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything, but faith working through love. Galatians 5:6 NASB1995
Faith in Christ gets things done through love. Growing in Christ will be accompanied with growth in love. Faith grown in Christ that is put to work will produce enduring results.
If you have been wondering why the wicked prosper, it is because they grow their measure of faith in wickedness and since faith is designed to produce results wherever it is directed, they will prosper but for a while.
Each of us needs to learn how to grow and maintain his God given measure of faith so that he will not be at the mercy of others and changing ideas of the world. As you grow your faith, you will release your hidden and untapped potentials in Christ.
Today’s Exercise: “I see Lord, that I am given a measure of faith for living by God. I am thankful for it and I decide to consciously grow it in Christ from today”. Say this to yourself ten times and whenever any challenge comes to torment your soul during the day.
