MEET THE I AM THAT I AM.

“And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them? And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.” Exodus 3:13-14 KJV

HAPPY NEW MONTH OF DECEMBER: I congratulate you for being a part of this new month on this planet. You are up this morning because the One I am introducing afresh to you breath His life breadth into you afresh. All glory to His Holy Name.

Moses needed to go and deliver some good news to the children of Israel that their affliction was over and the God of their fathers was set to deliver them. Moses had to ask God what name he would call God to them. God gave His name as I AM THAT I AM. He said further, tell them “I AM sent you”. I don’t know about you but this name of God puts an awe of God in me. I AM is limitless in scope. This name extends to yesterday, today and all eternity. It is the all inclusive name and nature of God. I AM IS THE NOW, THE PRESENT. He is the present tense. This first day of December, the beginning of the end of another year, think on this name of God, keep the name on your mind and lips all the time, spare time and let that name I AM fill the whole space of your mind and see the refreshing, the awe and the holy fear you will feel. Keep that name I AM in your heart repeating it and write everywhere your thoughts stretch and how you feel in your journal.

Today’s Exercise: Holy Father, thank You that you are my Father. As I behold “I AM” today, open yourself to me that I may revere You all my life.
