MENTAL ATMOSPHERE (1)

“Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.” Genesis 6:5 NKJV
HAPPY DAY TO YOU: Some weeks ago, there were articles in the papers about the climate in various parts of the UK. Each climate comes up with the feeling it gives and it gives me an insight. We have Mental Climate also.
What is Mental Climate? Mental Climate is the climate of the mind, the thoughts of man’s mind and his imaginations. This too gives feelings as well. God saw that the inclination of man’s thoughts was continually evil. Like each climate of an area produces particular effects on the body, each mental climate of man has its effect. This evil mental climate leads to destruction. “And the Lord was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart. So the Lord said, “I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth, both man and beast, creeping thing and birds of the air, for I am sorry that I have made them.” But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.” Genesis 6:6–8 NKJV
Our righteousness is like a filthy rag because it is tainted with evil. “We are all infected and impure with sin. When we display our righteous deeds, they are nothing but filthy rags. Like autumn leaves, we wither and fall, and our sins sweep us away like the wind.” Isaiah 64:6 NLT
Only one man escaped the destruction of the whole earth and not by his righteousness but by favour from God. Noah and his family escaped the destruction that resulted from the wicked mental climate of mankind. Man’s mental climate has not changed and mankind needs a saviour like Noah who finds favour with God. This came in the person of Christ who became sin for man that those who enter Him by faith may be preserved to form the new earth. This is the foundation of our mental climate, we shall look at how relevant this is to individual lives tomorrow. Today, see the helpless nature of man without Christ and decide whether you want to enter into the favour of Christ to avoid eternal destruction or not. If you choose to, say a simple prayer asking Jesus to come into your heart and be your Lord and Saviour. Tell Him to accept you into His kingdom and He will.

Today’s Exercise: Thank You God for showing me my helplessness without Christ. I come to Christ today to enter into Your righteousness. Cleanse me from my evil mental climate. Say to yourself ten times today and as often as you can “I have the mind of Christ and I live, move and have my being in Him today and always”.

Jesus Christ in us the hope of glory. The indwelling of Jesus Christ in us is an assurance that we are covered and protected from the effect of mental climate disorder (MCD). Just like when it rains and you are without an umbrella 🌂 you will obviously be soaked to your undies. In like manner, without the indwelling of Jesus Christ, we will be exposed to all the shenanigans of the devil without let. May God help us to do everything possible to remain in right standing with Him in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen!!!
Wao! MCD mental climate disorder. This is a real disease that should be addressed may the Lord deliver us all Unfortunately, science has no answer for it
