MOTHER OF ALL HOPES

📖

“Instead, it was a better country they longed for, the heavenly country. And so God is not ashamed for them to call him their God, because he has prepared a city for them.” ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭11‬:‭16‬ ‭GNT‬‬

HAPPY DAY TO YOU: There is the hope that is the mother of all hopes. It is the hope of where you go after you leave here. This hope sets one apart shaping your life here to make sure you get there. It makes you find out all you can about what countries exist beyond here. Science has been trying to find out what other life exists outside the planet earth but there is nothing discovered so far because it is spiritual.

Here, it is only by faith that we can know God and His abode in heaven. Jesus Christ came from heaven in the form of man to tell us of God, heaven and events that happen there then he was killed like man but resurrected as God to go back to heaven.

Heaven is that better country where the hope of going after this life keeps you to prepare for having your place there and knowing that all the promises that God gave you He will fulfil and you will see it. Abraham is seeing the fulfilment of being the father of many nations from heaven as he beholds all the people from all nations in Christ. Christ came from his lineage of Isaac. Whoever believes in the life, death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, has the hope of a place in heaven.

He should read what heaven is like and how to live life here in anticipation of a better country – heaven. He will like Abraham and all the people of old who did not get their hope fulfilled here  rejoice always in God who does not lie but has done all He promised in heaven already. This is deep thought but it is comforting for those who feel God has failed them by not giving them their hope. Shift your gaze from here to the better country and your hope will be revived.

Today’s Exercise: Thank You Father for making me know that life continues after we leave here. Help me to choose life with you after here where I will see the perfection of Your promise to me. Say to yourself I believe in Jesus as my saviour who will lead me to heaven.
