NO BOASTING
“For who regards you as superior? What do you have that you did not receive? And if you did receive it, why do you boast as if you had not received it?”

GOOD DAY. This should be humbling to anybody who realizes it. We all experience it but we don’t pay close attention to it. Some days, you feel a block, some call it brain fog while some say they are uninspired. It’s because nothing is coming from heaven on such days. On other days, insights come freely and we are happy and feeling brilliant. Heaven opened on such days. The most brilliant or talented of people feel either of these seasons but we never see it as heaven opening and we receiving. That is an indication that all we have and do are given to us from heaven. Life and achievements are all about receiving from God. The whole of life is a gift. We never realize this until one small part of us refuses to function. I listened to Steve Jobs death bed recording where he acknowledged everything to be a gift that should be humbly used. When a tiny virus could cause a pandemic that took so many lives, who is man to be boasting? O that mankind will only boast of the knowledge of God. The idea of various inventions is a gift from heaven. The making into being of the ideas too is a gift. Man just receives. O that man will stop boasting and destroying the world and himself and return to God the giver of all gifts. Pause a little and consider what you have or you have achieved and tell yourself “I received this from heaven”. Thank God for what He has given you and never boast or look down on others. He gave to all as He wills and everyone should be happy and humble about whatever he receives from above.
PRAY: Thank You Lord for giving gifts to all. May those who received abundantly stop looking down on those who did not.
