PASS THE TORCH ON
“Parents will tell their children what you have done. They will retell your mighty acts, wonderful majesty, and glory. And I will think about your miracles.” Psalms 145:4-5
GOOD DAY: Have you ever wondered why this generation is so cold towards God? The Baby boomers are worried at how the millennials and Z generations are completely ignoring God in all things. The baby boomer generation is now altering Bible teachings to align with these generations’ ideas.
Baby boomer generation missed it by not passing the torch of the Christian faith to the younger generation. To pass the torch on, we need to tell our children how God walked with us. Life itself is a miracle but living it is a journey you have to tell your children how God leads you. Many of the miracles we tell the millennia and the z generations are stories of a God who drops money just by giving tithes and offerings from no source; healings that are staged and not true and the children of these new generations are watching. We preach openly to quicken greed, competition and lack of contentment in them. At this point, the baby boomer generation still alive should check their hearts and lives and see what they are passing down to the younger generations about Christianity or else we will have few Christians in the world and our generation will bear the blame. We hear of Christian countries that abandon the teachings of the Bible on which their foundations were laid and yield to pressures from the world system to keep the young generation in church. My dear brothers and sisters, think of how you are passing the Jesus torch to your children and if you truly love Jesus, operate in truth and pass the same down to the next generation.
PRAY: Dear Lord, help me to live by your truth in all situations and pass the truth that You stand for to those around me in Jesus name.
