PEACE IN THAT OVERCOMES THE STORM
““I leave the gift of peace with you—my peace. Not the kind of fragile peace given by the world, but my perfect peace. Don’t yield to fear or be troubled in your hearts—instead, be courageous!” John 14:27 TPT
“When I go away, I will give you the power to always feel happy and quiet inside yourselves. You see, I have that power, and I will give you that power too. GOOD DAY: Have you ever experienced the fact that keeping your inward peace requires such great power especially when annoying or scary things are happening? I have experienced it a couple of times when the Holy Spirit impressed on me to keep quiet and be happy at a point when I boiled inside and was ready to pour out some venom on the persons involved. All I could say after the encounter was ‘God, that could only have been You in me.’ To walk in this kind of power that comes from Jesus as a gift, you need to know Him deeply. This I discover grows through reading the entire word of God regularly as possible and obeying whatever you understand from it. The more that you do this, the easier it becomes to trust Him. Also, as you read the bible through, you will see the promises of God that accompany seeking Him and how to diligently do it.
Peace of God is the power of God that makes you quiet and happy inside even when things are being thrown at you by the enemy. The world cannot give this kind of power of peace. The world will remove quietness and happiness from inside you if you allow it. Tomorrow by God’s grace, we shall look at how to tap into this power of peace that Jesus has left with us.
PRAY: Dear Lord Jesus, Your peace is sweet to my soul. Help me to hold my peace and watch as Your peace transforms the storms of life to stepping stone to Your blessing.
