Pray For Well Being Of Leaders

October 15.   Matthew ch 1-4

“Let his heart be changed from a man’s and a beast’s heart be given to him. And let seven times pass over him.”‭‭Daniel‬ ‭4‬:‭16‬ ‭AFV‬‬

HAPPY DAY TO YOU: The trend of things in the world now calls that no one should sit on the fence and not play his part. Everybody young or old, poor or rich needs to pray. Prayer is everybody’s job and it is not a tough one at all. It is simply calling on God. 

ALL WORLD LEADERS NEED THE PRAYER OF THE MASSES THEY GOVERN. Their well being determines the well being of the citizens. They are God’s representative with the rod of authority they carry. Apostle Paul admonished thus:

“First of all, then, I urge that petitions (specific requests), prayers, intercessions (prayers for others) and thanksgivings be offered on behalf of all people, for kings and all who are in [positions of] high authority, so that we may live a peaceful and quiet life in all godliness and dignity.” ‭‭1 Timothy‬ ‭2‬:‭1‬-‭2‬ ‭AMP‬‬. We must pray that they have the mind of human beings with compassion and fear of God. The mind of a beast was given to Nebuchadnezzar that made him feel like God and he behaved without compassion for the people. We see a lot of that happening now, we see wars that need not be, we see inventions both biological and non biological used as weapons of war, we hear of hate laws leading to hate crimes and all sorts. We need to pray for a change of heart in all leaders. I leave you today to pray first for rulers in your country then pray for leaders in any two countries of your choice that God will soften their hearts.

Today’s Exercise:  Dear Father, thank you for giving the masses spiritual authority through prayer just as you give leaders earthly authority. Help me to use my authority to pray down Your kingdom on earth.
