PRAYER 2
📖
“Come now, and let us reason together,” says the Lord. “Though your sins are as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be like wool.” Isaiah 1:18 AFV
💭
HAPPY DAY TO YOU: Like we said yesterday, prayer is a discussion between the creature and his Creator. In the beginning, God initiated discussions but after the fall of man, man has had to initiate discussions with God. Whatever your state is, whether you are sinful or not, you can respond to that invitation. This is why anybody can pray and God listens to do the needful in your situation. The needful for each person may be different just as a person’s response to the same question or demand by different people can.
💭
Prayer from this invitation is the soul’s attempt to partner with the Divine. It is the invitation to transcend our physical limitations and peep into the spirit to be like gods. “I said, “You are gods, And all of you are children of the Most High.” Psalms 82:6 NKJV It is as you commune with God in prayer that you can experience being god. Remember that communication is a two way affair. You speak to God and He answers you. God says “‘Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.’” Jeremiah 33:3 NKJV. That is prayer. That is the platform from which man receives from God. I implore you to not only respond to the invitation to come to reason with God but to take time to study prayer so you can have a good understanding to effectively pray and understand divinity.
