REAL CELEBRATION

“Rejoice with those who are rejoicing; weep with those who are weeping.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭12‬:‭15‬ ‭EHV‬‬

HAPPY DAY TO YOU: I read the status post of a sister yesterday and it was a reminder to me of what Christ would have us do during this festive period. The post reads “Sending my love to those whose Christmas will not feel the same as last year. Those who are spending their Christmas without a loved one, without a cherished item or just living a little worse than last year.  Life is a journey, there are curves here and there.” This is to tell everyone who is down emotionally or physically or financially that you are loved and your condition and feelings now will pass. You shall yet rejoice. It is also the time to remind those who have it good to share love with the less privileged. Look around you and see who you can share with. Something that you can do to put a smile on someone’s face. Send a message to someone you know who has lost a dear person. Someone who has lost his job, anyone who is in any form of pain or discomfort. Share part of what you give to your children with the less privileged children that you know. Real celebration is in rejoicing with those who rejoice and weeping with those who weep when you are around them. May the Lord Jesus make you an aroma of His love to everyone you come across in Jesus name.

From today till the new year, make someone happy everyday. It could be within your household or outside. A little gift, a smile, phone call etc. could mean all that someone needs to be happy and have hope revived.
