STOCK TAKING 2

“Beloved friend, I pray that you are prospering in every way and that you continually enjoy good health, just as your soul is prospering.” ‭‭3 John‬ ‭1‬:‭2‬ ‭TPT‬‬

HAPPY DAY TO YOU: I got some questions on why spiritual stock taking comes first? It came to my understanding that all the stock we have comes from the spirit realm and how far we are able to connect with it. Look at our text for today. Your prosperity in every way and your health are as your soul prospers. This makes the understanding of soul prosperity paramount to our all round prosperity and good health. What are the spiritual stocks that we need to prosper in? They are “…the Spirit produces love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, humility, and self-control. There is no law against such things as these.” ‭‭Galatians‬ ‭5‬:‭22‬-‭23‬ ‭GNT‬‬. How have you grown or prospered in each of the fruit of the spirit listed above? How have you allowed your thoughts to be fuelled or powered by them? In your journal, rate each one on a scale of 1-10. 1 being the lowest and 10 the highest. Your prosperity in them determines your prosperity in material things and health. Although they are not tangible, they are felt first by the person who processes them then they flow out to others. They also attract other things that are tangible. This is why Jesus said “seek first the kingdom of God…” Matthew 6:33. Growth in the fruit of the spirit is soul prosperity which is the durable foundation of all other prosperities. Take stock of it regularly. We shall continue tomorrow to see how to grow in spiritual virtues.
