SWELL THE AROMA OF GOD

SMELL HIS AROMA.
The Lord was with Joseph, so he became a successful man. And he was in the house of his master, the Egyptian. Genesis 39:2 NASB1995
But the Lord was with Joseph and extended kindness to him, and gave him favor in the sight of the chief jailer. Genesis 39:21 NASB1995
GOOD DAY: I had a teacher when we were in school. He had a peculiar perfume he wore that had a sweet strong smell. When he was some distance away towards the class, the aroma of the perfume made us know that he was around. He also left the aroma wherever he went and you would know he had been present there. God too has His aroma. Knowing God’s aroma is particularly important when times are tough. There are times in our lives when we are overwhelmed with challenges so that you want to smell the presence of God with you. Knowing His aroma and sensing Him around gives assurance that He will see you through. What is the aroma of God? His first and major aroma is the inward peace He gives. No matter the outward condition, you have inner peace. You may not like the outward condition but peace is in you. Next is the help you receive as you go along the journey. We don’t smell Him because we look for big and dramatic events to be able to feel Him around. Tomorrow, we will look at small gentle events that announce the presence of God with you. Remember and think about the testimony of His presence with Joseph. Joseph succeeded in whatever he did. They were small daily activities he performed in prison so begin to see His help in your daily activities.
PRAY: Dear Lord, let me see Your presence with me today. I need You Lord.
