THE ALTERNATIVE REALITY.
“Therefore we do not lose heart, but though our outer man is decaying, yet our inner man is being renewed day by day. For momentary, light affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison, while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal.”

GOOD DAY. We are all aware of one reality but it is a reality that is as changing as time is. Most of us cannot find stability of mind as we cannot tell what the next minute will bring. We are made in the image of God and He is unchanging. He is unseen and so He must have His own reality that if we can become conscious of, we will have unchanging peace, joy and love no matter the state of the reality that we are familiar with. This reality is the SPIRITUAL REALITY. Apostle Paul calls the two SEEN AND UNSEEN realities. We don’t need to talk much about the seen reality as we all know its changing nature. We flourish and whither and our moods are determined by its temporal condition. It is perceived with the five senses.
The unseen reality however is not perceived with the five senses. It is perceived by faith not just the Christian faith. Christ only makes us see the sanctified spiritual reality and makes it all good and heavenly. What is this spiritual alternative? It is the end of the reality that we see here on earth. To the sick person here, the spiritual reality is a healed, healthy and whole person; to the poor man in this reality is a rich and abundantly supplied person in the spiritual; to the foolish person here is a wise person; to the lonely person is a beloved person in the company of heaven, to an old person is a young and vibrant person and so on and so forth. This is what Apostle Paul is saying that the outer man is decaying yet the inner man is being renewed day by day. He focused his attention on the innerman; the unseen man; the spiritual reality and he could have the joy, peace, love and life of heaven that is unchangeable. It is this unseen reality that forms our hope, our imagination and it gives us hope and the life of God every time. Even the departed are with Jesus. So when you lose a believer in Christ, you can keep your heavenly joy as you know the spiritual reality that such a person is not wasted. Instead of war and chaos all over the world is peace and order in the spiritual reality. If all the world will view from the spiritual alternative, we shall have a different world. I ask that you write out the spiritual reality of your state now and feel the feel of it as the only unchanging reality.
PRAY: Dear Lord, open to my understanding the spiritual reality and fulfill my joy here Lord.
