THE COMMON SPIRITUAL CURRENCY

“To this the Lord replied, “If you return, I will take you back, and you will be my servant again. If instead of talking nonsense you proclaim a worthwhile message, you will be my prophet again. The people will come back to you, and you will not need to go to them.” ‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭15‬:‭19‬ ‭GNT‬‬

HAPPY DAY TO YOU: There is the common currency to all mankind. Like our various national currencies, you labour to get as much as you desire and you spend it as you like. In a way, the spiritual currency is the same and the analogy will give you an insight into how spiritual currency works.

The spiritual currency is The Word. It is common to all mankind. Like various national currencies differ, our languages are different so your language is like the various currencies of nations. Like the purchasing power of each currency differs, so also is the purchasing power of words differ. The story of prophet Jeremiah gives an insight into the power and use of the spiritual currency.

There are two major types of spiritual currency namely the valuable words and the useless words. The potency or power of your word depends on the country of its origin. There are two origins in the spiritual realm. God and Others.  God’s word has the ultimate power and all of God’s words are wrapped up in one Word. It is Jesus who became flesh. This is why “…at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;” ‭‭Philippians‬ ‭2‬:‭10‬ ‭KJV‬‬
