 THE THREE LEVELS OF RELATING WITH GOD. 3

“When David inquired of the Lord, He said, “You shall not go directly up; circle around behind them and come at them in front of the balsam trees. It shall be, when you hear the sound of marching in the tops of the balsam trees, then you shall act promptly, for then the Lord will have gone out before you to strike the army of the Philistines.” Then David did so, just as the Lord had commanded him, and struck down the Philistines from Geba as far as Gezer.” 2 Samuel 5:23-25 NASB1995

GOOD DAY: The third level of relationship with God is GOD WITH US. David had the three depths of relationship with God in his time. David knew God personally as his shepherd. Psalm 23:1 God did not reveal Himself as Father yet until the coming of Jesus who revealed God as Father. 

“But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name, who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.”  John 1:12-13 NASB1995. 

As David went to inquire of God, God told told him how to attack the Philistines as God will go ahead of him and do the Job. That is the manifestation of God with us. When we rob thoughts with God our Father and He tells us what to do, then He manifests Himself as God with us. This is when you will acknowledge that you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you. I hope these series will improve your relationship with God.
