HAPPY DAY TO YOU: I am writing the same verse of scripture from three versions to bring the meaning home to us. Much as science has studied and subdued the earth, it has not been able to control life because life is not elemental. However, each person has the ability to guard his own source of life. Each of us is well equipped with how to guard our lives because we each have a mind that he uses to control his life. It is for you and I to individually study the operation of the human mind so he can direct the course of his life. I used to blame others including institutions, environment, government and many other things outside me over what my life has become but when I understood the working of the human mind, I saw that I am responsible for the state of my life and I can change whatever I do not like.

The source of your life is in your own mind-your thought. How you think directs the course of your life. Your thought has the power to create whatever you desire no matter who you are. It is the power that God gave to mankind alone from the beginning. Genesis 1:28. Everything you need to direct your life was given to you from the beginning. What was used to create the world was given to you. THE WORD. It is your duty to guard the treasure house of the WORD that is in you. That TREASURE HOUSE IS YOUR MIND OR HEART. Think about this today and we shall continue tomorrow God willing.

Today’s Exercise: Thank You Lord that You gave me a mind to think. I did not know the importance of my mind and thoughts. Help me to take charge over my thoughts from now on. Say to yourself as often as possible (I am watchful over my mind to allow thoughts that are good and godly to be the treasure in it.)
