TRIAL OF THE WORD
His feet were hurt with fetters; his neck was put in a collar of iron; until what he had said came to pass, the word of the Lord tested him.
Psalm 105:18-19 ESV
GOOD DAY: The last time that we talked about the word becoming flesh, it was for a sweet experience. As I was waiting for my bus and asking the Holy Spirit what He wants for His children tomorrow, He said “I can become flesh to try as well”. Have you received a word from the Lord and instead of the word manifesting, the exact opposite is what you are experiencing? It is not just you. It is happening to many others but we have a mentor in brother Joseph the man with the coat of many colors. He got the word of God to him in two dreams. His siblings and parents were going to bow down to him. For this, he was sold into slavery to the house of Potiphar. There he was lied upon by his boss’ wife and thrown into jail. In both lowly positions, he longed for his freedom but kept doing his job exceptionally well in the fear of God. God was with him. “The Lord was with Joseph, so he became a successful man. And he was in the house of his master, the Egyptian. Now his master saw that the Lord was with him and how the Lord caused all that he did to prosper in his hand.”

Successful as slave and prisoner!
When his time for his word came, his fear of God with the use of his talent raised him from prison to prime minister of Egypt.
Do you have a word from God? Have you believed Him for something that you are sure He has given you? Are you worried about what the world economy and situations are doing to you? Fear not, God is with you as His child in the trials of your faith and He will not allow His word to fail. Be patient, like brother Joseph, do your best in the fear of God in your position.
PRAY: Thank You Lord for making me know that the word can become flesh to try or to bless. Help me to focus on You no matter what Your word brings my way as flesh in my neighbor.
