THE WATERS SAW GOD BUT MAN DID NOT
“The waters saw you, God, the waters saw you and writhed; the very depths were convulsed. The clouds poured down water, the heavens resounded with thunder; your arrows flashed back and forth. Your thunder was heard in the whirlwind, your lightning lit up the world; the earth trembled and quaked. Your path led through the sea, your way through the mighty waters, though your footprints were not seen.” Psalms 77:16-19 NIV
GOOD DAY: The whole world watched hurricanes Helene and Milton in the USA. The parts of Florida where they landed were totally destroyed. Is it not time that mankind begins to accept that God is real and that Jesus Christ is real and He’s the Son of God the Savior of the world. From our Scripture for meditation today, the waters saw God and they and hurricanes Helene and Milton are the results. The waters rose, the kind of lightning and thunder that accompanied them were terrifying yet mankind did not stop to ponder that the cause is more than scientific or climate change and act like Herod who called the chief priests and scribes together to inquire where Jesus would be born. Matthew 2:3-4. God is showing that man is nothing. If He chooses to end the whole world today, it does not take Him a minute. Let us pray for those affected by the hurricane and more importantly pray that the world would hear and yield to God’s invitation to repent and return to Him. We will look into more of the voice of God for mankind to return to Him tomorrow.
PRAY: Dear Lord, You have spoken and shown your anger. May mankind hear Your voice and acknowledge You and Your Son Jesus as Creator , Lord and Savior.
